I got alot of cool NES stuff from Hot Topic ( NES floor mats for your car!?) , honestly if you havent seen the stuff they have.. really cool licensed Nintendo stuff, you need to go there right now. Im all packed up and ready to move again, so once i move i wont be updating for a week or so. I know.. i suck. Real quick i would like to say fuck the holidays all together because i spend too much goddamn money on garbage that isent for me. When i first saw this movie on BadAssMofo, i had to download it. Some japanese guy beat SMB3 in under 11 minutes. Check it out here. The son of bitch gets 79 lives on level 8, bouncing off of bombs and other obsticles. Also another good one, but not that good.. someone has beat Contra in 13 minutes.
There is alot of controversy sourrounding this subject. As most people well know, to be a Snake People member, you must beat Contra without losing a life. Now we have never timed any of our attempts, but i know it is possible to do it very very fast. Possibly even faster than this movie. Check it out here.
Tyler said he would take on the task of beating Contra in 12 minutes. Dont know if its possible or not, but we shall see. I first have to buy Contra, because mine got lost in the move. Can he do it? Post your thoughts in the Forums.

Last night i was making some new graphics for the site (title bar, other bars and so on) just to change things around. When changing the ROMs section's graphics, i had noticed i had no counter on that particular page. So i put one on, and checked it the next morning. When i checked it in the morning i had 200+ hits to that page alone. So i checked my sites status for the last 4 or so months for sproms.html:
So now i guess im a roms site. With a total hit count of over 60k (6 months roughly) and more than half of that coming from the roms page alone. Never did i think this site would be so popular, but im happy it is. Its about fucking time right? RIGHT SNAKEPEOPLE?

This is going to be a rather large update. Its my day off, its sunny outside.. so im going to stay in and be on the computer all day. Okay, so Chrys emailed me yesterday, which is so strange because i havent talked to him in forever. Check out this email.

Oaf whipped up a super fine rant on the game SubSpace. If your not familiar with SubSpace, its an online game where you fly around in little space ships and kill each other, sometimes with an objective in mind. Oafs tells it like it is.
Okay, and now back to the farm. Im going to add ALOT of stuff to the NES section today to make it more complete. Dude, was looking through the section of info/weird NES systems/accessories, and thought of two items that aren't listed: NES MAX Controller (with turbo buttons, and the sliding circle direction pad) , and the QuickShot controller (not joystick, turbo switch, round rocker type directional control). Can provide these (have both) for pictures if you want. I believe I still have the box and manual for the MAX too. Can also provide the box for the 4 Score, still have those in good condition, plus the box for an NES brand cleaning kit that you might throw in somewhere. Anyway, going to run for now, hope to hear from you about these things.
Im sorry if i forgot those things. I have alot of stuff that i havent added yet, some i havent see anywhere else. If you reading this Oaf, send me your shiz-nat. The One Year Anneversary of Snake People!
Today marks the 27th update, at the One Year mark of Snake People. Sure, SP has been around for longer than a year, but if your SP knowlege is sharp, you would see this is the 1 year mark for the website. 1 year from this day we decided to let other people know who we are and what we do. Even tho we all live in different cities and different states, we still play Nintendo and goddamnit, we are fucking good.

Its sad to see friends goto different places (fats, B, chrys, and some others) A is still around, still plays Nintendo and comes over for a game now and then. I now encourage you to please take a trip down memory lane and read the Archives, and the Features.

Alot has been going on in my dreary mundane existance. I feel as if i need to do an update of this fantabilis site to make my day that much better. This update is a little off topic being that it has nothing to do with NES, but i guess you can say it has something to do with it because both Robocop, and Willow were 80's movies, and they do have NES games based on them. Anyways. Willow, and Robocop. (Download the NES roms here)
Both great games for the arcade stand up machines. We know little of the background of these two fine gentleman. Let me tell you first about our heroic champion of justice, Willow Ufgood. Willow is a ladies man, capable of doing anything he puts his mind to. He is very brave and heroic and he has a hot midget wife named Kiya. She cut off her hair for willow. Willow is 100% man, and is not a homosexual in anyway. He saved a baby from this crazy bitch who had herpes on her lower lip. Bavmorda or some-such. Greorge Lucas wrote books continuing the movie, but they sucked because they werent about Willow.
Well then there is Robocop. First off he is a flaming faggot who sucks little asian dicks for coke. He is a crooked Cop, and he always shot the wrong guy. He sometime has sex with little boys which personally makes me sick. He frequents the waterparks in the Orlando area so Chrys better watch his sweet ass, or Robocop will put his 3 1/2 foot penis attachment square in that virgin little brownie bar. My hate for Robocop goes very deep, considering he beat the shit out of Clarence Bottiker in the first movie, who later turned out to be Red, the dad on That 70's Show.
Thats pretty much all i have to say about that. Of course your all wondering if they made a game with Robocop and Willow, in the same game.. well they didnt. God knows i prayed and prayed every night under my TMNT sheets and matching comforter waiting for one to come out. Well, in toast to that:

Along with some other troubles ive been having with paying for the website, i moved. It only took a day and i found a very good roommate so everything went as planned. Tomarrow morning im closing my Bank of America account due to its fuck ups. This website is linked to my BofA check card, so that means no snake people for a while. I dont know how long, but it might be a week or more till i can find another way to pay for it. Bank of America sucks, they fucked over my account for the last time. Mostly, i blame God. God and Bank of America are in this together i know it. They are both gay and trying to F me in the B. No more i say!
Got a whole lot of new NES games from the flea market in the last couple months. Ill update tomarrow with a list of new games ive got, w/downloads and all that jazz. Sorry there hasent been many updates, but things have really took a turn around here. Matt & Tyler both left to Pirate Camp (College), so its been hard for me to get fresh ideas. Ill think of something, i always do.. even if it takes a dozen beers and 2 whores from Tokyo Bay.

I was hanging out at fats the other day and Tyler popped in, he sat down and him and fats proceeded to converse. Now as I was observing these two wretched souls that I call my bra’s (did you just call me a ladies undergarment) I couldn’t help but first run to the fridge and get some red juice and then think about how much I just wanted to see Tyler kick fats in the balls. After that scenario played through my head, I laughed out loud and Tyler called me a faggot. So I started thinking hmm… I wonder how he would taste with some fava beans and a nice bottle of flaming sambuca. Then I started to drool, caught myself, and ate the rest of fats cheez-its. He was not pleased but I don’t care cause I just enjoy the scenario of Tyler kicking him in the balls and I feel happy about my life.

After seeing the movie, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, i thought i would do an update about it. I know, this is not NES. Hey too fucking bad. The movie was very good, and the best part of it was that my favorite race the Rodians was represented very well in this movie. In Episode One, Anakin and baby Greedo were in the pod race scenes together. In this movie, they are everywhere and i couldnt be happier. At one point in the movie Yoda actually fights some guy named Count Dooku. He twirls his light saber like nobodys buisness. At that point i relized, is Yoda half Rodian? He must be because Rodians are also green and bad ass. I mean there are midgets in every species. Look at the Ewoks; you now they are just the poodles of the Wookie race. So my closing thought is:

As you can see if you took the time to scroll down, i did a new review on Gauntlet. Its short, but its all good. My Birthday is tomarrow, May 7th, and if anyone cares ill give them money. So the other day I was sitting around thinking about how miserable of a person I am and how much my life sucks and that reminded me of good ole’ powerglove because much like my life I really don’t like powerglove. Now you might think “well chrys now how could you hate powerglove it’s Nintendo and your supposed to love Nintendo” and I would say to you that if you would just shut your mouth and stop being a faggot and brush up on your Nintendo etiquette than you would understand perfectly what I am talking about.
See PowerGlove and me have one of those love hate relationships I’d love to beat it with powerglove now but I hated playing games with it then. Actually most of the memories that I do have of powerglove are me getting frustrated with the damn thing and tossing it across the room or spending countless, precious minutes (that I could have been playing CV2) untangling endless wires that all led up to the damn L shaped sensors that rested on your TV. They couldn’t of made it easier to sensorize it GOD I fucking hated those things so much oh it made me just want to blow the damn thing up but I calmed down, powerglove sweet talked me, I gave it a little loving, and we were ok again.
Well recently I have been able to relive these wonderful memories of mine with powerglove because Major and Fats happen to be at the Flea Market and low and behold what did they see right before their eyes, none other than the PowerGlove. Unfortunately it was the small size, but size doesn’t matter right I’ll still play the hell out of that thing. It seemed though that fats was gonna be the first to battle powerglove so after numerous tries of troubleshooting and programming M and Fats finally got Castlevania set up and they were ready to play. Off fats went putting the Glove on and doing battle, sadly though powerglove ripped the shit out of fats hands and we were sad. I still long to play powerglove but it’s a bitch and I’m small in the pants so maybe one day somehow I’ll get my opportunity to show PowerGlove who’s boss or just stroke my junk with it.

Cocoa pie. I made it up one day while i getting Rachel Leigh Cooks butt virginity. I was all like "How many B's are in bagina baby" , and she was all like.. I figured i would go goonies style and upload Goonies 1 and 2 for NES. The 2nd one is much better, and i actually know how to beat it.... considering the 1st one was a jap* release.

SP13 April 1st, 2002.. Our Childhood
Today before i go to work, id like to write a little bit about my childhood. I had obscessions. I was a collector. I was a freak.*
The only things that mattered to me were toys, toys, more toys, and Nintendo. Voltron, Thundercats, and G.I. Joe action figures were scattered all over my room. Transformers took over the remaining portions of my house. My brother was pretty into the military so i had alot of toy guns and such. Thats all the mattered. Going to school the next day to tell my friends that i got the new Sgt. Slaughter action figure with kung-fu grip, was all that was on my mind. I remember getting my first NES.
I lived with my brother Jared and my sister Jenny at the time, and i think the NES was mainly for them that Christmas. Jenny was too busy with her boyfriends, and Jared was busy with his insane lunacy.. thinking he was a jungle commando; Going as far as to shoot live ammunition into the woods behind our house. I got the NES, the Kung-Fu game cart, and Super Mario Bros. cart. I played Kung-Fu the whole christmas break, and went screaming to my friends the next day that i got it. Of course they all had Nintendos too. Thats right around the time i saw my frist Nintendo Power. Finally at last.. a magazine that talked about the ONLY thing i cared about in life. I read the magazine over and over, playing games while reading, and bringing it to school to show my friends. "Wow Major! Look! 30 lives in Contra!" Classified Information was always my favorite section. Captain N and the Game Master was also a daily staple of life.
Im guessing a year after i got my NES for Christmas, Zelda was in my christmas wish list my mom made the family fill out and give to her. Of course, i did not get it. Insted, i got the zapper/duck hunt, RC Pro AM, and Rad Racer. My friend Eric Ross got Zelda, and because of that i went to his house every day after school and played it with him. Zelda is the best game i have ever played! Not only was it my first RPG ive ever played, it was also the most classic. Everyone who had a NES remembers it. This game introduced me to the games that i love the most.. first Dragon Warrior, then Final Fantasy.... The list goes on. The hype was all about zelda II in the following months after Final Fantasy. A friend of mind who had visited canada had brough back a copy.. as it was not available in USA yet. We played the dog shit out of that game. After beating it, did i relive that the game was a giant disapointment to me. It was nothing like the first one, and it was terribly hard. A kid wants a simple game, easy to play. This was not it.
At Eric's 8th birthday party, he got the game Wizards & Warriors. You play some knight with a useless sword, and you poke people with it and jump really high. I loved the game so much, i played it and didnt let anyone else play. Fuck everyone else, the game rocked. Later that month i borrowed it, and im pretty sure i didnt give it back. This brought me back into the love for Nintendo. I lost it there for a second, but this game brought me right the fuck back in. SP10, March 7th, 2002.. Castlevania almost finished!
I worked most of last night to get the Castlevania 1 page done for everyone. I clean up alot of the pictures and even the title page. Im adding a couple things before work, and then ill be mostly done with it. Well thats pretty much all i have to say. This is our 10th update, and i thought i would make a little something in celebration of this glorious day. Check it out.

SP9, February 22nd, 2099.. Project: GoldenChair
So B made some concept images of the goldenchair. For those who do not know what a goldenchair is, its a chair, made of gold based on the HoverRound design. One change tho: you can put a young lady in the front, and have her give you head while you shop. Now all i need is a NES in that mutha.
Back to the farm. I was thinking about putting a NES in my car and what i would need to do it. Since my car was built in the 80's i cant put a playstation in it, that wouldnt make sense. Im gonna have to go NES all the way. Also, im trying to figure out how i can get the NES sound to run thru my amp. Any suggestions anyone? Im still trying to get together the Castlevania site up as fast as i can. Its not going to well because of work, and a site im making for someone. Bah.
SP8, February 17th, 2002.. Its been too fucking long.
Way to goodamn long if you ask me. I got this nice new domain, and i dont even use it. I must be on something. Over the last couple days ive been trying to put together a NES Castlevania section. With Matt's help i have a good amount of screen shots, and even movies of us playing on a real NES, no emulation. I just started putting it all together but ill announce with some fan-faire when its ready to go. SnakePeople: Castlevania.
So how has everone been? I just saw Super Troopers and i was thinking about Dracula's Curse the whole time. The music, the game, and playing as Grant. I have a choice: I can play as Trevor Belmont, Grant, or Some other bitch named Sypha. Of course im going to pick the guy (grant) who can change directions in mid air and stick to walls. Now all they have to do is add Grant into previous Castlevania games using the Sonic-and-knuckles technology.
B comes back down to Fort Myers from his sandy home in Arizona sometime in April. Well we are all going our seperate ways and will see very little of each other, so we are getting Snakepeople tattoo's. Ideas anyone? So far everyone but Tyler is game.

SP7, January 20th 2002.. Moving day!
Today is the day gentlemen. I bought the domain www.snakepeople.net and here we are goddamnit. I did alot of research and found a good price and all that BS. The Boy and His Blob walkthru will be up soon with pictures, but for right now im trying to get all the links straight and everything uploaded. Emails are a bitch to setup too. Anyways, ill let everyone know tonight when i get off work.
As for todays plans, when i get home im probibly going to move all of my homepage to here. What i mean by that is all my old "Demon's Pentagram" stuff will be erased and archived on this server, to escape the evil clutches of AOL, and Tripod. I wont be updating my DP site anymore, so this will be the site for everything, but of course NES will be the center. Im giving all the snakepeople.net members their own email and ability to update when they feel like it. My new email from here on out will be rojam@snakepeople.net.
I dont really have alot of time to spend on the website, but im going to make people administrators so they can update as well. I hate doing all the updates myself. I want to say hi to my dad whom i just talked to. He is sitting on the couch right now watching Beverly Hills Cop II. I think i will put some Nintendo porn on here to attract new viewers. That should work.

This is a very good update, mainly because i got alot done. Check out the pictures page to see some of the funniest picts you have ever seen. Matt and I spent about 3 hours in front of photoshop screen making them for you, more to come soon. Brian has done more levels for zelda, check that out here. (Adult content!) I usally dont laugh out loud, but B and Zelda, is a deadly combo. Oh, and remember B's site is not hosted by me, but by Kahnadex.com.
New features section, for all the stuff that you missed that is worth looking at; walk throughs, humor, pictures, you name it. Also added an archive section so the main page doesent get cluttered. Visit the archives when you want to see some older stuff. Oh, and i added the sad blob from A Boy and His Blob, to the sides of the updates.

The ever famous Kahnadex Systems website, home of best games ever; Kahnoid and MAL. Im serious i played Kahnoid for about 6 hours last night, and my fingers were numb. Needless to say im going to do it all over again cause the game is just that goddamn good. Go there now.

Update Two, December 9th.. Metal Gear... Solid?
Being im late on the 2nd update, ive decided to add another spotlight of the week: Metal Gear. Matt has been playing alot of Metal Gear Solid 2 at his house, and this was the only game on my mind. I like the game, but i especially like the first and only real Metal Gear. I like when you shoot the albino bandana dudes and they make this wierd pop sound. I try to confuse them by laying mines and walking over them.
I beginning to hate the whole HTML thing, and i wish whoever made it would die. Oh, on a lighter note, the whole Snake Peeps squad (minus B) wanted to induct gay Chris into the group. All he had to do was beat Super Mario Bros. on the console, and thats it. Needless to say he didnt do it. He is not as good at NES as we thought and now i think we will kill him.

Id have to say that the Snake People (Snake Peeps for short), has been around for a number of years now. We are just a bunch of friends, that all love the NES console. To us, its the best gaming system ever made for home use. Games like Super Mario Bros., Zelda, and Metroid were out childhood. We have never given up, and we are still beating all our favorite games, again and again.
In this first update, i hope to get most of the mainpage picture up, and some basic site design down. Photoshop is open right now, and im working as fast as i can. Id like to thank Brian for the old school Snake Peeps logo.
