B's "How to beat Megaman 2" guide

First of all, you need to warm up before you play

(If you're not old enough to buy king cobra 40 oz, go ask a homeless person to do it. If you buy them one too, they will usually do it, and they're tell you really weird stories about vietnam)

Here's the order you want to beat the stages in:

Metal Man

This is probably the easiest stage, and it has 2 energy tanks. The picture on the left shows a tank that is near the beginning. Throughout the stage, you'll see the creatures that are in the middle picture. They're really good to kill to recharge your life to full. The picture on the right shows the 2nd energy tank.

The second energy tank is a little tricky to get, you basically have to commit suicide. From where i'm standing in the picture on the right, jump around the edge to get into the small hallway where the energy tank is. After you get it, just jump off the edge. Well, now that I think of it, you might be able to get back up but I don't remember, I guess I never tried

When you get to metalman, he has a really easy pattern. Let yourself get up against the wall and avoid his gears while you keep shooting him. When he reverses the conveyor belt, go to the opposite side of the room and do it again.

Air Man

Air mans stage is pretty easy too. I like to kill metalman first because he has a really good power. It comes in really handy on this stage, especially since you can throw the gears diaganally. Just go slow through the big floating heads areas and you'll be ok

When you get to airman, just stay on the left side of the screen. Equip the regular shot (not metalman). Shoot him whenever you can and just jump over the air particles he shoots at you. He's probably the easiest boss to fight.

This stage probably has the best music in the game, especially when it's played by the minibosses

Crash Man

This stage is pretty easy too. Some parts of it are kind of hard. Throughout the stage, I use metalman's power, because you can throw gears diagonally which is great especially when you're climbing ladders. It's pretty easy to waste the floating eyeballs with them. As seen above, I love being cheap and using the floating #2 powerup to get past parts that are kind of hard

When you get to the dark section, there's 2 ladders. Go up the left one first to get the energy tank and then go back up the right one. When you get to the top, there's a 1 up you can get and also there's some guys that are really easy to kill that drop power ups. I always take my time to recharge all my powers here. Crashman is really easy, use Air Man power on him and he'll be taking a dirtnap after 2 hits

Wood Man

This stage is so easy, but It's one of my favorite stages. Use Metal Man's power for all of the stage, and switch to Crash Man when you get to woodman. One or two shots should kill him

Flash Man

Flashman's stage is really easy. I guess this game is probably the easiest megaman, but it's my favorite for sure. This stage isn't really anything special. I use the #2 power toward the end to avoid the enemies below. Flashman is cake if you use crashman's power on him

Quick Man

I don't remember much about this stage, because at this point I already drank the 40 ounce and I quit taking notes. The left picture shows a 1 up you can get. The middle picture shows where you should equip flashman's power. Try to get as far as you can before you can't take the lasers anymore. The right screenshot shows me getting an item recharge powerup which you definitely need to make it all the way through. Quickman is easy if you use Air Man's power (i think? oh well)

Bubble man

The left screenshot shows a great place to use the #2 powerup to skip past actually jumping on the falling platforms. The underwater parts are probably the easiest with metalman. When you get to the big fish with the blinking antenae, you have to switch back to the p-buster to kill them. Bubbleman goes down really easy with quickman's power

Heat Man

This is probably the hardest stage. The #2 powerup is awesome for this stage; You can use it in 2 places toward the beginning where you're supposed to be jumping from column to column, and also toward the end when you are supposed to jump from disappearing block to block. The #3 powerup is really handy to avoid the disappearing blocks (middle screenshot). Heatman goes down pretty quick with Bubble man's power, but be careful not to get hit by him too many times
