Four-One-Four and the Future

This webspace will be used a placeholder for a more permanent site in the future.
That site will be located at http://www.core-stasis.com. We will continue to post to
this webspace untill the aforementioned site will be up and running. We do not
have a set date for Core-Stasis.com. Please check back for more updates.

What is the reason for all this?

We have a fond interest is all things electronic. In our search for answers to the
questions we are looking for, we have gathered certain tid-bits of information that
we need to keep public for our own personal reasons. This is the public repository of
that gathered information.

Project Four-One-Four

What is Project Four-One-Four?

A group of mildly intelligent geeks in the early 80's used basic programmed
computers, ancient relics (modems), to infect databases around the united states.
This website is named for those people.

This project is set out to do the following things:

		Make available Hacking Information
		Present an archive or horded information
		Display Download Content
		Create a hub for the underground hacking community.

		Q: How long will this site be active?
		A: Untill Core-Stasis will be up and running.
		Q: How long will that be?
		A: Untill we have decided what the plan is.
		Q: Who runs this site?
		A: A collective of people, friends of friends mostly.
		In summary, a motley crew of young twenty- somethings who work full time jobs and lead normal lives.
		Q: This site looks great, but why no Flash?
		A: To minimize load times, we are text and picture
		only for now.
		Q: Where do you find all your information and
		programs?
		A: The internet. We will link to all our references as
		they become available. Some programs, and articles are very old and were part of a private collection. Most everything we will list is open- source, and credit will be given to the authors.
		Q: Iam looking for...
		A: Don't waste your time with requests. As we get
		ahold of information that would seem valuable, we will post it. If it is not valuable to us, it will not make it to the site proper.
		Q: This site is like the Anarchists Cookbook, but
		better.

M ajor - 8/9/07 - Final Polish & Upload: Preperations

Making good time now. All items are uploaded and all systems are go. Ive added things that you may notice, and
some things that you may not; all pages are viewable now, well for the moment. Some links have already gone dead
and working on getting them going again, which takes a whole lotta time. Got the guys reactions today about the site
and they seemed to like it alot, so we can move on to stage two of the master plan.. adding more pages, and getting
everyone involved. If you have any comments or questions, please post them in the forums.

Forums are Up and Running!

Holy god i didnt think it would happen. I lost the PHP script
a friend loaned me, so i was all on my own. I got directed
by others to set up shop with freeforums.org, which is a
really good quality PHP forum maker. Untill i get the hosted
thing settled, the forums will be located here. Once in a
more fixed space, i will host them myself.

Graphic Design, Part Deux

Still making headway with new site graphics, considering im
not happy with the ones in place right now. I think the fonts
will need changing, and all the banners will get a slight
overhaul when i have time. Again with the time thing. For
those who care, site GFX are made with CS2 - Eyecandy -
Powertools and Illustrator. -Forums-
